Hit by the Covid-19 downturn, the oilfield service market is not likely to rebound to last year’s activity level until 2023 according to a Rystad Energy analysis. However, suppliers could diversify some oil and gas capabilities and replace up to 40% of 2019’s revenue by servicing the renewable markets. Rystad Energy analyzed the activity of the top 50 oil and gas suppliers, which together earned $220 billion in upstream revenue in 2019, $100 billion of which originated from well services and commodities. Many services provided by well-focused suppliers will be challenging to deploy in the context of energy transition operations, especially fracking services, OCTG and drilling services and tools. La divisione solare di  LG Electronics  annuncia nuovi progetti e nuovi prodotti per il 2020-2021. L’azienda ha introdotto all’interno del proprio portafoglio il  modulo LG370N1C-N5 (tipo N) . Il pannello, dotato di 60 celle, garantisce potenza fino a 370 watt ed efficienza di conversione del 21,4%. Oltre ad ampliare la propria gamma di moduli solari con nuove soluzioni, LG Electronics continuerà ad innovare le proprie linee di produzione in Corea. Durante il corso dell’anno, infatti, le linee di produzione saranno potenziate per estendere, entro l’inizio del 2021, l’offerta e lo sviluppo di soluzioni per il solare ad alte prestazioni. "In the first half of 2020, renewables (wind, solar, hydro and bioenergy) generated 40% of the EU-27's electricity, whereas fossil fuels generated 34%,". Ember stated that the amount of electricity generated by renewables in the EU's 27 member states rose by 11% in the period from January to June. [...] Wind and solar alone reached a record of 21% of Europe's total electricity generation, and reached even higher penetration in Denmark (64 percent), Ireland (49%) and Germany (42%), the study said.
