I moduli saranno realizzati dallo spin-off Maxeon Solar Technologies e utilizzeranno l’interconnessione a “scandole” al posto delle tradizionali barre (bus-bar) per collegare le celle fra loro Credits:  SunPower I nuovi pannelli solari bifacciali disponibili dal  4° trimestre 2020? Maxeon Solar Technologies , lo spin-off della SunPower, è deciso ad alzare l’asticella dell’industria fotovoltaica. Come? Con una nuova linea di  pannelli solari bifacciali , nati appositamente per le grandi centrali fotovoltaiche. l moduli in questione rappresentano l’ultimo capitolo della  tecnologia  “shingle interconnection”  (letteralmente interconnessione a scandole), tecnica di saldatura delle celle che sostituisce quella più classica delle barre (bus-bar). Come lo stesso nome fa intuire nei moduli shingle,  le celle vengono leggermente sovrapposte una sull’altra , esattamente come le antiche tegole dei tetti in legno.
